Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the flank steak in the bowl and coat it thoroughly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cook the Steak
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
