  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in old-fashioned oats and three-quarters of a cup of chocolate chips.
  6. Form dough into balls using about three tablespoons per cookie and place on prepared sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until just set on top. Cool on the sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
