Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Cook until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove chicken from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to incorporate browned bits. Allow to simmer.
  4. Add gnocchi and cook until softened (3-4 minutes).
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in heavy cream and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet along with Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted together.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
