Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs; cook until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes). Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  4. Add gnocchi and bring to a simmer; cook for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low; slowly stir in heavy cream and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the skillet along with Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and heated through.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
