  • ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a food processor, blend chicken breasts until finely chopped. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and one egg; blend until it reaches a paste consistency.
  2. Shape the Nuggets: Form the chicken mixture into nugget shapes using wet hands and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Battering Station: Mix cornstarch in one bowl and combine water, one egg, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard, pepper, salt, and flour in another.
  4. Heat Oil: In a skillet or deep pot, heat oil to about 350°F (175°C).
  5. Coat Each Nugget: First coat nuggets in cornstarch, then dip into the batter before frying.
  6. Frying Time: Fry each nugget for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Double Frying: For extra crispiness, fry again for an additional 5 minutes.
