  • 40 ounces frozen unsweetened strawberries, crushed
  • 1 pound fresh cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest (about 2 oranges)
  • ¼ cup bottled lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 5 pounds granulated sugar
  • 2 pouches liquid fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. Wash jars, lids, and bands in hot soapy water; keep warm.
  2. In a large saucepan, mix crushed strawberries, cranberries, lemon juice, orange zest, cinnamon, and cloves until well combined.
  3. Stir in sugar and liquid pectin; bring to a rolling boil and boil hard for one minute while stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and skim off foam from the surface.
  5. Ladle hot jam into jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace. Wipe rims clean before sealing.
  6. Place jars in a water bath canner; boil gently for 10 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove jars and let cool undisturbed for 12-24 hours.
  8. Ensure lids are sealed by pressing down at the center.
