  • 1/3 cup White granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Large egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp Water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen puff pastry for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the chocolate ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring it over chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
  3. In a bowl, beat room temperature cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Cut thawed pastry into rectangles and create an inner rectangle without cutting through.
  5. Brush edges with an egg wash made from beaten egg and water.
  6. Fill each rectangle with cream cheese filling and chill before baking.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 17-20 minutes until golden brown.
